More creating.
Less trying to remember.
I originally created Yarnmates for my girlfriend because she loves to crochet. But keeping track of everything could get frustrating: which row she was on, which pattern she was using, what project she had started, or how much progress she had made.
I wanted to give her a place to pick up where she left off, without having to keep every detail in her head.
Then I noticed other crocheters in the community running into the same problems. I thought: if this could help her, why not make it useful for other makers, too?
Yarnmates began as something for her. I’m building it into something we can share.
A workspace—and a place to connect.
That’s why Yarnmates brings projects, yarn, patterns, row counts and progress notes together. The goal is simple: make it easier to return to what you love creating.
I also wanted a community where crocheters could share their work, ask questions, encourage each other and maybe find a crochet buddy along the way.
Yarnmates is still growing. Your feedback helps shape what it becomes.
